Allison was unaware of anything that went down in that cave with Alec. She barely had time to focus, mourning about not being able to save Reaper. When the hunter heard him wince while locking the car, her ears rang. At first, she ignored it, thinking it must be his finger caught in something or other. As Alec walked ahead of her, she saw it. Blood dripping on the floor with each step he took towards his room. Allison gasped, running and catching his arm and pulling him back. The Alpha only hissed at the action, his eyes clenched shut. “You’re bleeding!” “It’s nothing.” She ignored his protests and unzipped his jacket, pulling it out of his arms. Her mouth dropped open when the hunter saw a bullet hole in his body. Tears blurred her vision, head tilting to glare at him questioningly.
