Erik's wolf lashed out at Alec, lurching forward to slice his claws across the dark brown wolf. His cousin had huge paws to his advantage, canines sharp and glinting in the natural light. The Alpha hissed, almost missing the attack, striking back with a growl and bumping his head against his brother's wolf. Due to that action, Alec's wolf went flying back, his neck snapping back so fast and hard that he feared he might have broken something. Fortunately for him, nothing happened; Alec merely stumbled back a few steps before whirling furiously on Erik, attacking him with a vengeance.
