Oliver stood before me, his posture stiff with beta submission, his scent tinged with guilt and he couldn't even look me in the eyes.He went back after he sent Noah in the car.
"Take your Alpha home," I commanded. "And we'll never speak of what happened tonight."
His head dipped in immediate acquiescence. "Y-Yes, Luna, Miss Paige.I've... failed my duties."
"Just get him out of here," I stared at him. He immediately avoided my gaze. "I don't want to see either of you right now."
As Oliver turned to leave, he hesitated. "Alpha Noah... he hasn't returned to the house since... since the rejection. He's been sleeping in his office."
