Paige's POV
Noah's Alpha pheromones saturated my office, his whisky and cedar scent overwhelming my senses. I could feel Tiana growing restless, her protective instincts flaring as Noah watched me with those piercing black eyes that occasionally flashed steel-gray. He wasn't saying anything while I worked, but I could feel his stare. I couldn't work properly.
I wanted to push him away, send him away but whenever I tried, he would threaten me by telling the people in this hotel about our past. It doesn’t matter actually. I don't care about the past anymore. What bothers me is the mess he would make. It’ll affect my family. It may affect my son.
