Paige’s POV
I stared at Noah and Asher sleeping on the hospital bed from my seat on the couch. They were curled together. Tiana stirred inside me at the sight of our mate and pup together at last.
The door swung open quietly, and the doctor entered with a smile. After checking Asher's vitals, he gestured for me to step outside to talk.
"How is my son, doctor?" I asked.
"His fever has broken. You can take him home today," he replied.
I smiled with relief. "Thank you, doctor."
I was about to go back inside when I noticed two women glancing in my direction, their expressions hard and judgmental.
My forehead creased as I looked at them.
