Tears formed in the corners of my eyes as my world shattered into a million pieces.
"W-What... What do you mean?" I gasped, gripping Achi's arm so hard my knuckles turned white. Inside me, Tiana howled in disbelief and rage.
Achi palmed his forehead and shook his head. "I don't know what happened, Paige. I just saw the news about Noah's car exploding and they found a body inside."
I sucked my breath as my hands trembled. Tiana was frantic, refusing to believe what we were hearing. "No. No, Achi. It's not him. It's not him, Achi. Our bond... I would feel it if he was gone."
He nodded hesitantly. "We believed it wasn't him, but Oliver is here. He confirmed that it was Noah inside that car—"
