    I was…horrified and fascinated at the same time. It was dark; just as the Seelie Court was light, the Unseelie Court was dark. It was haunted-looking, dark colors everywhere. Dark purple houses blended into the trees, dark blue splashes mixed with the woods. The people, they looked sad, their faces lowered, like they were dead inside. There were, of course, quite a few Unseelie fairies that were happy. Walking around whistling, going about their daily tasks, walking in a hurried motion. But then the sad ones, they swayed where they stood, slowly doing the motions, deep sighs, unhappy. More than once I could see them grabbing their stomach, hunched over like they were hungry, and I wondered at the contrast between them and the happier fairies. Were they starved for not following orders?
