Sure, the sudden outburst from Alexius had taken Paige by surprise at first. The switch in emotions and scent wasn't exactly what he expected after bringing Alexius home from the hospital. Given the way the omega had reacted after his confrontation with his twin brother, the only thing on Paige's mind on the way back home was to make sure Alexius was comforted to the best.
