My mouth moved a few times but I couldn’t get out a word.
He knew? How was that even possible?
Confusion entered my eyes as I stared up at him. “What do you mean?”
Cyrus stretched out his hands towards me and I stared at it for a few seconds before placing mine in them. He led me to the dining area where a few women I hadn’t seen before were arranging the dishes.
“Let’s eat.”
Seeing the various delicacies, my stomach grumbled and an embarrassed look crossed my eyes as I took a seat.
“Elora,” he started, and I paused to look at him. “You don’t behave anything like her. It’s uncanny for someone to change that much.”
“That still doesn’t make any sense. Cyrus, what exactly do you know about me?”
He didn’t reply to that. He just held my eyes and pointed to the food. “Eat.
