The next morning, the sunlight filtered through the curtains, soft and gentle. Ariel opens her eyes slightly, she stirred, her head resting on Alaska’s bare chest, she could hear the steady rhythms of his heartbeat. For a moment, she wishes time will stop and they will just remain like that.
