She did not only frown but get afraid that Mr. White might know something or might have heard about her fake marriage with Alaska before they become real couple.

But since he needed a reason to make Alaska dropout from the election now, by all means, he decides to use the marriage between Alaska and Ariel. To get evidence or something tangible to dwell on, he decides to get the truth from Ariel to know if his suspicion is right about their marriage.
