“No... that’s not true. Jack will not do that to me” Ariel’s voice trembles, tears threaten to fall from her eyes, she shakes her head in denial.
“You think I will lie you?” he scoffs.
“Oh! I’m the liar here. He is the good one” he laughs sarcastically.
“I know you will not believe anything I tell you about him. I don’t even want to tell you, Ariel. I don’t want you know that the man you loved never loves you, I don’t want you to get disappointed, to be heartbroken. All I wanted was to protect your dignity but what did I get in return? Betrayal!”
He smirks.
“You make me realize you don’t need my care, my protection!” He said breathing angrily.
