It was obvious how Prince Cassius, Mom, and even Phoebe were trying to butter me up, all in an effort to convince me to sign the proposal. It was the only thing they could talk about during breakfast.
They were all pushing me to buy into the benefits of the proposed trade routes for both Silvergarde Prime and Myranthia, while also emphasizing the need for elite warriors to help guard the borders.
"I haven't had time to look through the entire proposal yet," I said, just to get them off my back. "But I'll get to it right away."
"I'm sure you'll find everything there to be satisfactory," Prince Cassius said confidently.
