After that distressing night, all I wanted was a long, hot shower to wash away the scent of those drunk men and the lingering feel of their hands on me. But reality hit me hard—I no longer had the luxury of long, hot showers. The hot water had already run out, and if I didn’t hurry, I’d freeze to death.
I couldn’t decide what upset me more: the disgusting feeling of being violated or Geller’s cold dismissal, making it seem like it was my fault.
"You attract too much trouble." His words echoed in my mind, sharp and unforgiving.
