Chapter Thirty-Eight
Lilith POV
That Fae prince protected the little princess. I wasn’t expecting that, and it so ruined my plans.
As soon as I saw that there was a breach, I took action. I knew Maurianna was in the Mara castle because a little birdie told me. My plan was to go in, start an uproar with her family and then “take her to a safe place”. But the Fae came in before I could and whisked her away to safety.
I didn’t know he was protecting her too, which now makes me think I need to move to plan b. I will have to find a way to get past the Fae so that I can accomplish my task and, unfortunately, that means I will have to make a deal with the devil.
It’s so frustrating.
Why? Why do they all protect her? I don’t understand what is so important about the girl. Her personality
