I don’t know how long I have been walking for. Everything is dark, and I can’t see anything around me. It could be hours or maybe days. The only thing I know is that I’m tired and my feet hurt. I thought that if I walked for a little while maybe I could find a light somewhere or something, but no. I have called out for my wolf and even my mate, Uriel, but I got nothing back. I stop and take a seat right where I’m standing. Instantly, I let out a sigh of relief and rubbed my belly.
Images of what happened in the war start to come back until everything goes black. Was I the danger in this war? Did the world end because of me? I ran my hands down my face and groaned. Suddenly, I saw a light in the distance. I slowly got up and started walking towards it and I saw it getting closer
