I wanted to tell her so badly what was going to happen, but the look of determination on her face when she said she wasn’t going to let anything happen to any of us stopped me. My fear was that she would sacrifice herself for me like she did with Uriel. I thought we would have more time together. That I could show her what she means to me, but I would never have the honor to do any of that.
