"Hala andito na sila!" "Ha? Hoy teka! Sama ako!" I rolled my eyes when I heard some girls squealing as if they are being butchered or something. Sobrang sakit sa tenga ng mga tili nila. Parang mga hindi naka kita ng lalaki kung maka tili. I was drinking my juice while sitting inside the cafeteria. I then heard my friends laughing kaya tinignan ko sila at tinaasan ko ng kilay.  "Woah kalma! Natatawa lang kami sa reaction mo. Kahit hindi ka nagsasalita parang naririnig pa din namin ang iniisip mo," Sorine laughed at sumabay din sa pag tawa si Leora.  "Hon, you look like you'd kill them anytime," sabat naman ni Leora. I smirked and played with my straw. It was almost time kaya naisipan na namin umalis at bumalik sa classroom baka mapagalitan pa kami ng professor namin pag na late kami nasa 4th floor pa naman ang classroom namin.  My eyes widened when I felt a cold sensation running through my body. I looked at my uniform and saw a red stain. I do not know if malas ba ako o yung babaeng ito ang malas dahil nabangga niya ako at natapon niya sa akin ang juice niya! I looked at her with lazy eyes and I saw how terrified she is right now. "Oh my gosh! Thylane!! I'm sorry! I am so sorry! Hindi ko sadya!" she kept on apologizing. I was biting my lip, holding my self na hindi sumigaw at mag wala sa canteen.  "Why did you anyway? May humahabol ba sayo kaya ka nagmamadali?" I asked her. She immediately shook her head kaya tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.  "I-I wanted to see Akihiro kasi," she whispered kaya sumingkit lalo ang singkit kong mata. That name nanaman. Sino ba 'yan at na perwisyo pa ako sa pag dating niya! Luckily I brought an extra uniform sa bag ko. I really hate it kapag napapawisan ako so I make sure to bring an extra uniform. "Do not! Laugh at me! Saksakan ko ng hydroflask 'yang mga bunganga niyo," I rolled my eyes at them pero they still kept on laughing.  "Eh kasi naman. Natapunan ka na nga bait bait mo pa din. Hindi mo tuloy napapanindigan ang nickname mo sa school." Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ni Leora. Ice princess. Lecheng nickname 'yan. What year is it today na ba? Ba't ang jeje nila mag create ng mga nicknames! It's not my fault I have this resting bitch face look. If may problema sila sa face ko mag reklamo sila kay mommy. I got it from her anyways.  "Teka nga. Who's that Akihiro anyway?" I asked them since I was very curious and since dakilang chismosa din naman 'tong dalawa.  "Akihiro Claude Yamamoto. 2nd year from the Department of Law. He plays volleyball and he's good! I might think siya ang ace ng team eh," Sorine was talking nonstop and she's also blushing! Teka nga! Crush niya din ba 'yung Eros na 'yon? "He's half British din sa pagkaka alam ko," dagdag naman ni Leora and Sorine nodded. Napa nganga nalang ako sa mga kaibigan ko. They sure know a lot! "Hindi naman halata na pati kayo fan din niya," I mockingly said which made them avoid eye contact with me. Bingo. I rolled my eyes at them and I did my make up. I curled my lashes using my favorite curler and applied a small amount of blush on my face. Hinanap ko ang lipstick ko sa pouch and I also applied it on my lips.  Classes are done kaya napag isipan namin kumain ng sweets. We want to go to this famous dessert shop near our school. I badly need to eat something sweet dahil sa mga nangyari kanina. I might go nuts! A lot has happened and all of it were not good. We were packing our bags when Zariah called me.  "Thylane, Hi! Sorry talaga if biglaan pero we are actually setting up kasi for our opening tomorrow. It's our sports festival. Si Keiza sana ang kakanta for our opening bukas pero paos siya ngayon and she can't sing tomorrow. So the council is hoping sana if you could sing tomorrow?" My eyes widened. At talagang ngayon pa siya napaos ha? Can;t this day go any better? Please note my sarcasm.  I was mentally rolling my eyes habang papunta kami ng gym. Halos padabog ako mag lakad dahil naudlot tuloy ang sweet dessert ko! I saw the lights are on inside the gym. Nang makarating kami sa gym I saw some teams practicing for tomorrow's games. Pero what caught my eye is the volleyball players inside the gym.  "Watch out!" I saw a ball coming our way at malapit na matamaan si Zariah. I was able to block the ball with my hand. Napapikit ako ng mata sa konting kirot na naramdaman ko. Damn that spike was strong. Alam ko namumula na ang kamay ko dahil sa impact ng bola pero hinayaan ko na lamang ito.  "Thy! Are you okay?" nag aalalang tanong ni Xariah, I nodded and asked her if she's okay. Gladly, she is. Kinuha ko ang bola at ibibigay ko na sana ito sa taong nasa harapan ko when I saw someone at his back smirking at me.  "Oh my! Hi there queen! Are you hurt?" the girl teasingly asked me. "Oh hi there Heaven!" I greeted her with hints of sarcasm in my voice which made her frown. I looked around her and saw her playing together with some guys. Must be the University's volleyball club members. "Looks like you're playing against these boys, huh," I continued and gave her a smirk.  "Yes of course! I am the team captain of the women's volleyball team after all," she proudly said.  "Oh. Edi sana ol," I teased her.  I was about to walk away when someone grabbed my arm kaya napamura ako bigla. "Hayop ka masakit!" I slapped that person's hand away. Aba! Saan ba 'to nanggaling at hindi niya nakita na namumula ang kamay ko. Talagang diniinan niya pa ang pag hawak! "Sit down. I'll get you ice," I heard his deep voice. It sent shivers through my spine. Teka sino ba 'to? Gwapo ng voice ha! I mentally slapped myself. Nasasaktan na nga ako may gana pa talaga akong makilig.  "Hindi nga ako Ice Princess! Ano ba! Ang jeje niyo!" Reklamo ko at napaangat ako ng tingin. Ay shuta! Kaya pala gwapo ng boses!  "Are you dumb or something? I said I'll get you ice. Para ma cold compress mo yung braso mo," he left after saying those words. I bit my lip. Napahiya ata ako dun.  Zariah sat down with me on the bleacher. Agad ko naman siya tinanong kung kilala niya ba ang lalaking kumausap sakin. I saw kung paano lumaki ang mga mata niya. She's looking at me na parang alien ako na nanggaling sa kung saan. "Are you serious, Thylane?" she asked. "Tatanungin ba kita kung kilala ko siya?" I rolled my eyes again. "He's famous here kaya sa University!" she said. Hearing that, parang kilala ko na kung sino.  "He's-" "Akihiro Claude Yamamoto," I finished her sentence. She nodded at me smiling happily while I look like a complete mess.  "Yes? You called me?"  Muntik na ako tumalon sa bleachers. Hawak hawak niya ang ice sa kamay niya. I saw how his eyebrow arched. I smiled awkwardly at tinignan si Zariah. Umiwas lamang siya ng tingin. "What? Wala ah. Hindi," sabi ko habang pillit na umiiwas sa mga mata niya. Inabot niya sa akin ang ice pack kaya tinanggap ko naman ito at hinay hinay na nilagay sa braso ko. Napapikit ako sa lamig. Hindi naman siya gaanong masakit sadyang namumula lang talaga. After a few minutes binalik ko na din sa kanya ang ice pack at tumayo na ako. "Thank you," lumingon ako kay Zariah. "Let's go," I said and started walking towards the stage. "Si Thylane 'yan hindi ba?" "Yes! Ang ganda no?" "Oo! Naglalakad lang naman siya pero parang nasa runway 'yung aura niya!" I mentally rolled my eyes hearing those comments. May mga tao talaga na kahit simpleng pag lakad mo lang nahahalata. They can't mind their own damn business! I went up the stage and started practicing for my impromptu intermission number for tomorrow. "And that's a wrap! Thank you so much, Thylane!" Zariah kept on clapping here hands as I went down the stage. "Thy, super thank you talaga dahil pumayag ka kahit biglaan," she kept thanking me kaya I laughed a bit and told her na she doesn't need to worry.  *** Halos sampalin na ako ni Leora dahil bahing ako ng bahing every time she puts powder on my face. "Isang bahing pa Thylane tatanggalin ko na talaga 'yang ilong mo!" Kumunot naman ang noo ko. "It's not my fault I have allergic rhinitis!" Reklamo ko naman pero she just mocked me kaya tinapunan ko siya ng tissue. They were busy doing my make up habang ang ibang students nasa gymnasium na in preparation for our opening ceremony. "Dude dito nalang muna!" Rinig namin ang sigaw ng nasa likuran namin kaya napatingin kami agad sa pinto. We saw 2 guys hurriedly entering the room. Followed by another one who looks like he's going to kill the two any moment now. "Ay may tao pala. Sorry queen. Sa kabilang room nalang kami," sabi nung isa at inaya yung dalawa. Naka labas na 'yung dalawa pero nanatili pa rin 'yung isa. Pumasok siya bigla sa room at umupo sa isang vacant chair.  "Let's stay here," I heard that deep voice again. "Pero dude parang nag aayos sila dito eh, alangan dito ka din mag bihis." I saw how he rolled his eyes at his teammate kaya tumahimik nalang ito. I looked at my friends na akala mo statue dahil hindi na gumalaw sa mga pwesto nila. I snapped my finger in front of them kaya natauhan naman ang mga ito at tinuloy na nila ang pag aayos sa akin. "Alam mo ikaw, panira ka ng pangarap impakta ka. Sama ng ugali mo," reklamo ni Sorine sakin at mahinang hinila ang buhok ko before curling it kaya tumawa na lamang ako. I did not expect na napalakas ang tawa ko. "Uy hala! Tumatawa ka din pala?" sabi nung isa kaya binatukan ito ng kasama. "Shuta ka ang ingay mo gago!" he slapped his friend's shoulder kaya medyo nahiya naman 'yung isa.  Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang tumayo si Akihiro at walang sabi sabi na hinubad ang t-shirt niya. I saw how my friends blushed seeing his body. Uminit ang mukha ko sa galit. This guy! "What the heck?!" Sigaw ko kaya agad tumingin sa akin ang mga kasama niya. "Don't you have some decency or something? Kita mo may mga babae dito. Dito ka pa talaga nag hubad ha!" I stood up and walked towards him. Talagang hinahamon ako ng lalaking 'to? I am Thylane Anika Nakamoto! And I am not called maldita by my cousins for nothing! He looked down at me. Putek! Bakit ba kasi ang tangkad niya! Nahiya ang height ko ha! Napa atras ako nang bigla siyang yumuko para mag pantay ang mga mukha namin. I saw how he smirked at me. Wala pa din siyang suot na damit hoy! "Why are your eyes closed? Hmm? Can't look at me like this?" he teased. I opened my eyes and he's still smirking. "If you don't want to see me naked, then... close your damn eyes, princess," he whispered on my ear. Bumalik naman siya sa upuan na kung saan naka patong ang bag niya at nag bihis na siya. He wore his jersey. Yamamoto #14 They left after maka bihis ni Akihiro. My friends continued doing my make up. They curled my lashes and applied light make up on my face. A nude color for my eyeshadow and a coral color lippie for my lips.  We went to the gym and Sorine and Leora went to where there teams were. Ako naman pumunta ako sa stage para umupo since I will be singing in a bit. They began the drum rolls and the players gathered at the center to light the torch. Eros was the last one to light the torch. And I saw how the female population of our University swarmed over to take videos and pictures of him lighting the torch. The program began and I was called to sing. I walked to the center stage and looked at Zariah. She gave me a thumbs up and she asked the technical to play the music. I saw how the crowd got wild upon hearing the music. I felt confident seeing the audience cheering for me. Nawala bigla ang kaba sa dibdib ko.  I started singing and I saw how my friends clapped their hands so I chuckled a bit. My eyes were glued to my friends so that I won't get nervous but I saw how they were pointing at something. Or someone, to be exact. I followed their hands and I saw Akihiro smirking while holding his phone up. Wait is he taking a video of me?! I bowed after finishing my song and I saw how the teachers also clapped their hands. I went down the stage and went directly to my friends. They were giggling like crazy. Akala mo na possessed or something. We were eating our food while waiting for the ball games to start when Leora started slapping my arm. "Aray!" sigaw ko. "Check Akihiro's account! Now! As in now!" She was panicking. I looked at Sorine pero she just shrugged her shoulder, obviously confused just like me. She rolled her eyes at both of us at pinakita sa amin ang phone niya. It was an instagram story. I looked closely and saw that it was me! Someone took a video of me singing at the ceremony! Agad naman ako lumingon sa paligid.  "Teka sino kumuha niyan?" tanong ko. I was seriously confused but these two aren't giving me answers!  "Gaga huwag 'yan ang itanong mo!" angal ni Leora. Pinakita niya ulit ang phone niya sa amin. Biglang tumili si Sorine kaya napa tingin ako sa kanya. "Look at the caption!" sabi ni Leora kaya napatingin din ako sa caption. Agad ko inagaw ang phone para tignan kung sino ang hinayupak na nag story nito. It was Akihiro! He's this popular?! You guys don't know each other but he's acting like your boyfriend!" Sorine teased kaya inirapan ko nalang siya. "Or! Maybe you are in a relationship! Tapos tinatago mo lang sa amin!" Leora concluded kaya hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko na hindi hilahin ang buhok niya.  "You guys are over reacting!" I shouted but these two don't seem like they care dahil patuloy pa rin ang pag tawa nila. After some time they stopped laughing kaya tinignan ko sila ng masama. Agad naman nila ako nilambing. Kung hindi ko lang talaga kaibigan 'tong mga 'to matagal ko na sila sinabunutan. "You guys done laughing?" I said. Raising my eyebrows kaya they both smiled sweetly.  The three of us went to buy some food and I saw some delicious Takoyaki kaya 'yun ang binili ko and I also bought some milk tea. I heard Leora giggling kaya tinanong siya namin ni Sorine kung ano ang pinapanood niya para alam namin kung bakit siya kinikilig.  She smirked and showed us her phone. It was the same video and she told us that she kept replaying the video multiple times. I massaged my temple. "Not this again," I muttered.  "Pero infairness Thy, ha, bagay kayo," Sorine teased again pero agad naman siya tumahimik nang pinandilatan ko siya ng mata. She giggled and said, "I'm telling the truth, Thy." "Telling the truth, telling the truth. Kung sabunutan kaya kita?" pananakot ko. I wanted to confront him pero hindi ko siya makita so I gave up. Bahala nalang sila kung ano ang iisipin nila. Basta alam ko hindi kami close.  "Ate Thylane! Are you going to the gym din ba?" tanong ng isang Freshman sa akin. Naramdaman ko ang pag siko ni Leora sa akin. Pinalakihan niya ako ng mata. Doon palang alam ko nang I was looking at the girl with judging eyes kaya agad ko naman kinompose ang sarili ko.  "Ah! What's happening inside the gym? Ano ba ang meron?" Sorine asked instead.  "May laro po. Volleyball. And Akihiro is playing!" hindi maitago ng dalawang babae na nasa harapan ko ang kilig sa mga mukha nila. I tried my best not to roll my eyes. Agad naman sila umalis at tumakbo papuntang gym.  "Ikaw talaga Thylane Anika Nakamoto! Ang maldita mo tignan!" sermon ni Leora sa akin. Napanguso na lamang ako at sumabay na sa kanila. My eyes widened when I saw that we are inside the gym. These two!!! Mga die hard supporter ng Akihiro na 'yon! "At bakit tayo andito?" I asked. They both looked at me and smiled. I noticed how some students looked at me habang nag lalakad kami papuntang bleachers. This is the first time I felt uncomfortable. Kasi naman! I know why they're looking at me! Ikaw ba naman ilagay sa IG story ng hinayupak na feeling famous na 'yon! It is not that surprising na puno ang bleachers kaya halos hindi kami makahanap ng mauupuan. "Hey, let's not watch nalang. Wala nang vacang seats oh," I tried pursuing my friends. They looked at me ant sinamaan ako ng tingin.  Wala naman kasi talaga! "Princess!"  The three of us looked at the person who shouted, he was jogging towards us. He was the guy kanina sa classroom! "Come with me, we reserved seats for you," he smiled and took my bag at tinuro kami sa upuan.  I was too stunned to speak kaya hinila nalang ako nila Leora. It was the seats near the players' bench! I saw how Heaven's eyes widened when she saw me. There was a black sports bag beside her. I saw how Akihiro went to the bag and took his water bottle there. Agad naman siya inabutan ni Heaven ng towel.  I raised my eyebrows. Mukhang nahalata siguro ng lalaking kasama namin ngayon kaya he faked a cough. "A-ah! Dito kayo, Leora, Sorine. Hehe," turo niya sa upuan na tabi ng bag ni Akihiro. The two excitedly walked and sat there which made me raise my eyebrow even higher! So saan ako uupo?!  I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag from the guys and I was about to leave when I felt someone grabbed my arm. Agad ko naman siya nilingon. It was Akihiro! "What do you want?" I asked him.  He effortlessly pulled me towards the chairs at agad niya ako pinaupo sa kung saan nakalagay ang bag niya. "Sit," he commanded. Napaawang ang bibig ko. Sit? Sit?! Ano ako? Aso?! Do I look like a damn dog?!  I was about to stand up when he put his bag on my lap and my sling bag on top of his. Aangal ulit sana ako when he leaned towards me at bigla niyang binuksan ang bag niya. He took his jersey out and he placed it on my lap. Nilagay niya sa paanan ko ang bag niya.  He leaned again kaya napapikit ako. I opened my eyes and saw him smirking. "Cheer for me, Anika," he whispered. Agad naman siyang tumayo at pumunta sa team niya.  He was leading their warm up and I must admit this is the first time I saw him up close. Gwapo nga siya. Infairness.  Sorine and Leora were squealing like pigs beside me. I was busy pinching Leora's thigh when I heard Heaven scoffed. Agad naman kami napatingin sa kanya. "Feeling mo naman, Thylane," she started. This girl really likes to have war with me.  "Don't act too high and mighty just because Akihiro is treating you well, you must have seduced him!" bintang niya sa akin. Hindi ko napigilan ang pag tawa ko.  "Excuse me pero ano? Ako? Well, I should take it as a compliment. Kasi for you, I am THAT attractive to be able to seduce such a handsome guy like him," I smiled at her. "Oh don't worry, after his game I will really make an effort na kilalanin siya. Para naman hindi nakakahiya sayo. I barely even know him pero here you are acting like I stole him from you," I smirked. This girl really thinks I'm afraid of her,huh. ASA siya!  The game ended quickly kaya agad naman lumapit si Akihiro sa amin. I saw how Heaven stood up at balak salabungin si Akihiro. She was even holding a gatorade! Aba! She even had the nerve to call me feelingera ha? Akihiro walked pass by her at dumerecho ito sa akin. I didn't stood up. Wala akong ginawa. I just sat there and looked at him getting his bag from the floor at nilagay ito sa tabi ng upuan ko. He took his water bottle and drank from it. Agad naman niya inabot ito sa akin. I only looked at him with confused eyes. Kinuha naman niya ang kamay ko ang pilit na ipahawak sa akin ang water bottle niya.  He was about to take his sweaty jersey off kaya agad naman ako tumayo at inabot ang jersey niya na nasa lap ko. "Kung gusto mo magpaka bold star dito, be my guest. Pero do not go naked in front of me!" I shouted.  I am sure as hell that was loud enough to caught other people's attention. I saw him smirking and he leaned towards me kaya napa upo ulit ako sa upuan. "You already saw my naked body though."  My eyes widened with what he said at agad ko naman siya hinampas gamit ang jersey niya. he just laughed at me and pinched my cheek. "I'm kidding," he said at tumakbo na papunta sa mga kasamahan niya at nagsimula na silang mag warm up.  I was focusing on the game when I saw my people around me busy looking at their phones. Medyo masama ang kutob ko kaya agad ko naman tinignan ang phone ko. I opened my Instagram account and to my surprise, I was tagged with a photo. Tinignan ko naman 'yun at nakita ko ang picture namin ni Akihiro. Bago lang yun ah?! Bakit ang bilis nila mag picture? It was a picture of him towering me. It looks like he was kissing me sa picture but he was actually whispering on my ear! Oh gosh! I checked the comments and I was not happy about it!  "Ang sweet nila tignan." "Sila na ba?" "Ang powerful ng aura nila pareho." My eyebrow raised while reading the comments. Great. Another chismis nanaman for me. I closed my phone and focused on the game infront of me. I silently cheered for him every time he gets a point. He is good at playing volleyball. No wonder he's famous!  The other team got a time out kaya naman pumunta siya kaagad sa akin. I was confused why but then I remembered his bag is with me. He grabbed his bag and took his water bottle out. His teammates went to him and he started discussing their game play. I was shocked when I heard his plan. He's wise and good at making plays. His team was listening intently to him talking. You can see how much they admire and respect Akihiro.  They ran back inside the court and he started cheering for his team. He taps their back encouraging them. It was his turn to serve and he got a service ace! That ace was a good start to bring up the mood of his teammates. They were doing good during the game. I was clapping when they won. After their game agad naman siya lumapit sa akin and he flashed his smirk at me.
