“Wait! The wolf that attacked me was the Alpha King?” Mitch was shocked. He winced in pain as he sat up in the bed.
“Yeah, he was. I caught the same scent on my parents' corpse. There's no doubt in my mind that it was him,” I added.
“I don't know why he'd be interested in me. It was the first time I was seeing him,” he groaned.
“So did he say anything to you?” Alpha Felix asked. “It’s strange that he just attacked you like that and not even give you an hint for the reason behind it.”
