"You know how to make Thai dishes?!" I squeal, turning to face him but he still has his eyes glued to the television.
"Babe, when you have two half-Thai men for friends whose appetite for Thai dishes surpasses that of a hungry lion, you'll learn how to make these," he answers flatly. Despite his nonchalant tone, I can see from how his eyes light up every time he mentions Manuel and Philip that he truly cares for them to go to such an extent as to cook for them sometimes with an ego like his. I know it isn't a bother to him.
I take my phone and take pictures of the dishes, sending them to Leo who sends me a boring emoji, later followed by a heart emoji. I forwarded the pictures to Daniel and Philip too.
