Chapters. 7
Unbeknownst to Lauren, when Lauren left Johan after turning off the light in the little boy's room, Johan very slowly got up and picked up the laptop on his study table.
"I have to hurry. Don't let Mommy know," he said in a very soft tone. As if afraid that what he was doing right now was known by his mother.
Johan quickly opened his personal email that he had made without Lauren's knowledge. The little man then opened a message from the email address he had painstakingly obtained, until finally Johan was completely convinced that he was the person he had been looking for. Despite being in a different country, Johan was not discouraged. He would find the right opportunity and reason to take his mama there.
Johan's eyes lit up when he read the reply to the email he sent to someone. With very agile hand movements, Johan replied back to the email.
"What city are you in now?" Johan wrote in his email. "Next week I'm going to Sweden with my mom. Can we meet somewhere crowded?" Johan continued in the body of his email. Not waiting long, Johan immediately sent the email. And a few minutes later, Johan received another reply.
"Next week I will be going on a business trip abroad. If you want, just meet at the airport." That was the content of the reply Johan received.
Although it was very short, Johan was very happy. The little man smiled so wide, his hopes that had only been in his imagination would finally be realized soon. Johan also really hoped that this time he really found the person he was looking for. Because, this was not the first time Johan had done something like this. Looking for his father in his own way. Because his mother tended to hide the truth of who he really was.
"Ok, I will be able to recognize you easily later. Remember, I will say 'Female fox' when I manage to find you, sir." Johan replied later.
"Ok."
After receiving reassurance from the person he had been exchanging news with for the past week, Johan left the conversation. But the little boy genius did not immediately move to his bed and end his preoccupation with the laptop on his study table. Instead, Johan clicked on a photo he had gotten. A photo of a mature man with a firm and handsome jawline. And what caught Johan's attention were the eyes of the man in the photo.
"I finally found you, Father." Johan smiled slightly, but the look in his eyes implied an extraordinary longing. It was as if Johan couldn't wait to vent the emotions he had been harboring. "We will be together soon."
It was not just a hope for Johan. From the time he understood what family was and he also often got ridiculed by his friends for not having a father, at that time Johan always tried to study harder so that he was considered and could find his own father without involving his mother. Because every time he asked his mother, Lauren's face turned sad and repeatedly apologized to Johan for not being able to provide the same life as other children around them. Where they have a complete and harmonious family. Unlike what Johan had experienced.
Johan was very sure that the person he was contacting was his biological father.
Klek
The sound of the bedroom door opening, startled Johan so much that he immediately turned around.
"Johan?" Lauren walked in with a surprised expression as she saw her son sitting at his study table. "You're not asleep yet, dear?" asked Lauren, approaching her son.
Oh, no. He had caught his mommy sleeping. Johan quickly made an excuse so that his mother wouldn't be suspicious of what he had just done.
"Ah, I just went to the bathroom, Mom." Johan did not want his mother to know that he would meet a man who was suspected to be his biological father later when they returned to Lauren's hometown.
Although it felt a little awkward, Lauren didn't ask any further questions.
"Alright, let's go to bed. Mommy's with you."
Lauren asked Johan to lie down next to her and then wrapped her arms around her only son. Making sure that Johan was comfortable. She was very lucky to have Johan in her life right now.
"Mommy sleeps in my room?" asked Johan in surprise. Since he was four years old, his mother had never accompanied him to sleep with the reason that a man must be independent and brave. He should not always rely on others.
Lauren smiled gently at the question that came out of Johan's mouth. Then she nodded while gently rubbing her son's arm.
"Yes, dear. Tonight Mommy sleeps in your room. Is that okay?"
"Of course it's okay, Mom!" Exclaimed Johan who immediately hugged his mama.

"Have you prepared everything?" asked a man with sunglasses perched on his sharp nose while adjusting his suit.
"Everything is ready, sir," Zack replied confidently.
"The gift for my meeting with Mr. J?"
"It's ready too, Mr. Elvan."
In his boss's first meeting with the mysterious figure who called himself Mr. J, Zack certainly wasn't going to make any mistakes.
After everything was under control, Elvan got up from his place and started walking towards the waiting room that Zack had prepared earlier.
The plane he was about to board was still half an hour away, but Elvan was already in the airport area. The man had deliberately come early to wait for a special guest who could make him very curious. Because that person knew a lot about him. Even about the problems being experienced by one of his subsidiaries.
"Would you like some coffee, sir?" offered Zack when he saw Elvan glance out the window at the several planes parked there.
Elvan waved his hand, indicating that it was not what he needed at the moment. Elvan felt that time was passing very slowly. Because honestly, this was his first time waiting for someone. Because usually he was the one being waited on.
"Has he called again yet?" Elvan looked even more impatient.
Zack turned on his cell phone, but there was no message notification on his phone. "Nothing sir."
A rough sigh escaped Elvan's mouth. If he knew waiting was such a tedious job, he would probably attend the meeting he had thrown to his secretary at the office.
Unable to sit and do nothing for so long, Elvan got up from his place and stepped out.
"Where are you going Mr. Elvan?" Zack was wary, fearing that his boss would act out because he was tired of waiting.
"Taking a little walk downstairs," Elvan replied without elaborating on where he was going. Making Zack immediately follow his boss's footsteps.
Elvan walked aimlessly, until suddenly a boy bumped into him.
"Uncle, help me, Uncle!" said the boy who immediately took cover behind Elvan's feet.
Before Elvan could ask, the boy pointed back at the black-clad men who were probably chasing him.
"They want to catch me, Uncle. They're bad people!" again and again the boy asked Elvan for help.
Elvan frowned when he saw that the people chasing the boy were Zack's men.
Zack, who happened to be behind Elvan, moved his hand, signaling them to leave. Then Elvan squatted down and embraced the boy and held him.
"How come you were chased by them?" asked Elvan with great curiosity. Because his men had never targeted a child. Whatever the reason.
The boy who was now in Elvan's arms did not answer immediately. Instead, the boy cupped his hands on either side of Elvan's face. Making Elvan squint his eyes in surprise.
"What's wrong?" asked Elvan while shaking his head at Zack when Zack wanted to warn the little boy not to touch carelessly.
"Uncle's eyes are the same as mine," said the boy with a smile that looked very happy. His hand kept moving to stroke Zack's face which had fine hair on the side of his cheek.
Elvan gasped in shock, he just realized that what this boy said was true. How could it be? That was the question that popped into Elvan's head at the moment.
"Who are your parents?" Elvan's face turned very serious, even the man's gaze looked very sharp. But in no way did it frighten the boy who was about five years old.
"A female fox," the boy said as he hugged Elvan's neck and rested his chin on Elvan's shoulder.
Deg!
