I freeze mid-step before I slowly turn around to face my mate. “Stop?” I ask him in a whisper as I slowly stalk over to him. “You want me to stop? HA. I am not about to stop until I snap her f**king neck.” I growl out just as I go toe-to-toe with my mate.
He looks at me with surprise for a moment before I see lu*t in his gaze. He smirks at me which throws me off guard for a second. I don’t know how it happens but all of sudden, he has his hand around my throat while he slams me up against the cell bars. I groan which is mixed with a moan as I look into his blood red eyes, letting me know that his demon side is coming out.
