R A V E N N A As expected, the drive was long and tiring. Kai fell asleep in the back seat about an hour into the journey, and I didn't mind. It gave me a chance to clear my mind and prepare myself for what was to come. I wasn't sure what would happen when I got home. How would I find my family? Would they be happy to see me? Would they welcome me back home with open arms or would they hate me for leaving in the first place? So many questions ran through my head, and I couldn't seem to stop them.
