Night came pretty quick.
Kai spent some time with his grandparents, finally loosening up around them and soon enough, he was dozing off on the couch.
Taking an excuse from my parents, I carried a sleeping Kai and walked him up the stairs to my old bedroom.
A feeling of nostalgia suddenly hit me as I opened the door and a rush of memories flooded me.
The same bed where I used to lay and dream of being Zane's mate, the same closet where I would hide all my secrets and the same desk where I would sit and draw the things that inspired me.
A lot has changed in the past five years and everything was still the same, the room remained untouched like time has stopped inside.
"Mom, did you clean the room and keep it the same?" I called, placing Kai on the bed.
"Yes," She smiled
