“There’s no f*cking way she would agree to this!” Medakkaru paced, running his fingers in his long hair. His eyes were flashing at the altruist.
“You’re so right! Why would I even?” Kimora cut in, agreeing to it.
“I’m out of here,” he said.
“She can be a bridge between you and your dragon,” Old Brilkatt said.
Both Kimora and Medakkaru went still. He slowly turned to see the yellow-ranked shifter. “What did you say?”
“Oh, haven’t she told you about her experience yet? I’m sure she had made contact with your dragon when you were catatonic for two days.” Old Brilkatt peered at Medakkaru’s face, as though he was staring right at Kimora, who became speechless.
How did he know that? Medakkaru did not even mention it to him.
“I know this hasn’t happened before in Dracmond, but I know very
