Chapter 69: Middle Of Nowhere
I stretched my arms out, yawning lightly and hugged the person beside me. Wait… why is Tomás’s body turned soft and… pillowy?
I opened my eyes and shock registered my face. It was the pillow that I hugged which I thought was Tomás. Anyway, where is he?
“Tomás! Tomás!” calling his name twice as I stepped out of the bed. To my surprise, I was wearing full on clothes, remembering that I sleep beside him naked to give body heat.
Upon exiting my room, my eyes searched for him in every place he could be inside our small apartment. I looked over the kitchen, but he’s nowhere to be seen. “Tomás!?” and upon opening the bathroom, still, he is not there.
