Night came, and the manor is filled with Hugo’s earsplitting tantrums. The maids are covering their ears as they walk past behind us. I tried several ways to calm him down, but Hugo is determined to throw his tantrums.
“Ba-Baby, please, listen to mommy,” I kept my voice calm and friendly. I can’t stand to be mad at my only son. Hugo shook his head, yelling at me. “No! I want to go home now!” his face is filled with tears and sweat.
