Chapter 20: He Calls It Quits Sunday came, Elliot was rolling his old yet comfy bed. His eyes were staring at the ceiling. Boredom and worry were in his head. He was worried about getting bored. As usual, every Sunday, he will always be left alone in the house. Saturday is the only day that his Mom chose to have a break from work. But things changed drastically when her Mom started knocking on his door. “Elliot?” “Yes, Mom?” “Open this door, sweetie,” And so, Elliot opened the door of his room. He eyed his Mom, who is wearing a white shirt and a pair of old crusty pants. Mary felt her son staring at him. She then spoke, “Why aren’t you changing?” she said, looking at him. “Where should I head to?” Elliot responded. “You are going with me,” “Where?” But Mary did not respond to
