Tyler’s POV
The day is hectic without food and water. We walked miles without anything. No one is talking to each other, no jokes only the sound of bird’s chirping and the sound of crushing of dry leaves are echoing in our ears. Suddenly Caroline leaned to me. She is tired and dehydrated without water. I ask lieutenant to wait for a few minutes and rest. They agreed and we all started to have our rest time.
“Did you hear that Tyler?” Caroline asks from me.
“Hear what?” I said. I didn’t hear anything.
“I hear the sound of a small stream” Caroline said to me with a faint smile.
“Caroline, don’t think too much. There’s nothing here” I think she is dehydrated due to lack of water she must be hallucinating.
