CHAPTER 19
Alycia’s body burned. She felt hot. So hot that she could barely walk. Her hands clutched at her belly, as she growled in pain.
Where it was emanating from, she couldn't quite tell. All of a sudden, she was unable to focus on her environment any longer. The scent grew stronger, this time she could detect the scent of pine leaves alongside it.
It came from her right, and almost unconsciously, her legs began to move towards the direction.
But she knew...she knew at the back of her mind she was meant to head to a different direction. She knew she couldn't afford to have anyone see her at this moment, as it had been a while she was out to the cool natural air, but she just couldn't help what she felt.
