Chapter 41
Alycia stepped out of the mansion with gradual steps. She could feel her palms clam, not because she was anxious--well, maybe she was, a little though.
She knew she couldn't keep telling herself she didn't want to be anywhere near him, or, that she's simply doing all this --playing along just so she could use them for her own gains.
It has taken a bit of self restraint to not embarrass herself while he was in her room earlier.
Gosh--his scent.
Ever since that night he f****d her senseless, she had felt utterly astonished at the way she'd acted like a needy w***e.
Her knees wobbled, and she quickly held on to a wall for support. Trying to calm her self.
Reminding herself to focus...
"The King awaits you," A voice said from behind her, and she almost flinched in shock.
