PARIS’s POV "Paris, you should know better than to say things like this. You have a mate." Ember said, and I shook my head. Not even with Kate, had I felt such peace since I woke up in this hospital. By her side, my wolf simply was. "I know better, and that's why I say such things." She looked at me for what felt like a lifetime, and I saw it all.
