CHAPTER TWENTY THREE Nicole's POV I kept fiddling with my fingers afraid to see the look Dominic had on his face. When I gathered the courage to sneak a glance at him, his face was a mask of unmistakable anger. His lips were drawn into a thin line, as he kept grinding his jaw while drinking from now a second bottle of vodka. I wanted to caution him about driving while drunk but I knew better so I kept my lips shut.   Upon reaching our residence Martha gave us one look and excused herself to go apple shopping even though it was already past eight in the evening.
