We all look at Cyrus who holds a gun out, pointed at Laura and the heart. I quickly turn my gaze to Laura and see that the heart now starts to turn into fiery ashes. The bullet went straight through.
“Seems silver bullets do the trick too." Cyrus says and then mumbles. "Villains really need to stop revealing their trump cards.”
“No... NO!” Laura shouts. Her hand grasps the heart but it turns to ashes and disappears.
The wendigo starts to screech and it also turns into ashes. Just like the heart, the ashes fall and pile up on the ground.
Laura starts screaming. “You will all pay-”
She doesn’t get to finish because Alpha Maximus's hand goes right through her own heart.
