The thrill of sneaking around once more did have my heart racing again. I tuned into the guard's conversation, trying to figure out where they were going. It was a bit broken in translation, but a few words gave me the jest of it. They were speaking about some woman they had met. I could have sworn I heard something along the lines of 'together laid' yet that didn't make sense, at first until I realized I was mistaking the context. It was the pure masculine chuckle that gave the truth away. It was the laugh of a male boasting about his exploits.
