Rowan let go of me finally and I looked at him with fury. She really overdid it!
“So, I hope that we are done with all that?” I asked him dryly and he clenched his lips so hard that they formed a thin white line.
But when I turned to where the growl came from, my heart froze.
Hunter looked at me as if I stabbed him. And I bet that it felt as if I did.
He was standing at a distance and clearly just walked out of the woods. Did he run here? Why?
