Caius left me in the room I had awoken in when I was first transformed while he went to speak to someone about allowing us to fight. I perched on the large stone block, and picked up one of the cold metal shackles that had been around my ankles. It was heavy in my hands, and I felt a painful lump in my throat when I remembered waking up with no idea what had happened to me.
