I was surprised by what Cal had just told me - I thought that Rin’s son was just a young boy, but he had managed to hit Cal hard enough to bruise his jaw.
It didn’t really matter who had done it, though. All that mattered was that Cal was still here, and he was not going to leave me alone in this place.
