FREYA'S POV A deafening crash ripped through the air, jolting me out of my panicked state. I froze in my tracks, my eyes widening in horror as I witnessed the horrific sight before me. Marshall, the love I had tried so hard to forget, lay motionless on the ground, a victim of the tragic collision with the speeding truck. "No!" my anguished cry tore through the night, my voice laced with desperation and heartache. I couldn't help myself from running to him as quickly as I could. I dropped to my knees beside him, my trembling hands reaching out to touch his battered form. Time seemed to stand still as tears streamed down my face, the reality of the situation crashing over me like a tidal wave.
