Shannon’s POV.
As I watch Chase, my husband, as he plays with our children. When Evangeline was eight weeks old, we got married. He said he was done waiting, and that we had waited long enough. I had no argument. Chance is four and Evangeline is now three months old. I can see the excitement that tomorrow will bring.
Tomorrow being Christmas Day. We are all in the clubhouse waiting for Santa to arrive to give the kids of the club an early gift.
If you had told me a year ago that I would be here, back where it all began. I would have knocked you out. But now I smile seeing Chase holding our daughter as she looks at the flashing lights on the gigantic tree as Chance explains what everything is. I chuckle softly as I watch them.
“Things change so quickly in such a short amount of time.”
