CHAPTER NINE My cheeks were flustered, my lips feeling swollen under my fingers. The more I gazed at myself in the mirror above the sink, the more it slowly sunk in. Ares had just kissed me. Ares, the very man I should be avoiding, had kissed me like he craved me. The same man who fiancée was not only my agency’s head but also sitting right outside, had kissed me and I liked it. It was very shameless of me to even want more and yet I did. What right had he to kiss me like that? If I’d thought that first time was a mistake, then what does that make this second time?
