Olivia slowly picked her way through the dark woods while weeping. Her arms were curled around her chest as she wiped her tears away from time to time. Her gaze darted back towards the man walking behind her in the dim light, was she truly permitted to walk ahead of him?
“Ahh!” She shrieked in fear, placing her palm quickly over her lips when a shadow appeared by the brushes .
“Olivia!” Jake and Rex leapt out of the bushes together sprinting towards her.
“Jake, Rex,” she gasped. What were they doing here? How had they tracked her down? She was startled in the next second when she was hugged by both males. She held her breath as she staggered.
"What brought you into the swamp forest?" Rex inquired.
"What caused your unexpected disappearance?" Jake questioned.
