Nervous, excited, and relieved were just a few words to describe the different emotions I was feeling right now. Honestly, I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for a woman like Riley. Now that I'm getting ready to marry her in just a few short minutes, it almost seems unreal.
Last night was a whole range of emotions. A week spent without her felt like I was dying each day that passed. What I did might have been stupid, but it worked, and I wouldn't ever apologize for doing what I needed to protect my family when the police couldn't. It worked out in my favor, and now they were all behind bars where they belonged. I would have liked to kill that son of a b***h, Chad, but I know being in prison would be more of a hell than what death would deliver.
