Kenny eventually agreed to move into my apartment once he was fit enough. When Ade’s mum and dad came back in the room, they explained to us that Kenny would be going back with them until he was better. Again, Kenny argued with them, but he gave in when he could see how hurt his mum was.
It didn’t take long for him to get discharged and we followed them back to Ade’s parent’s house. Ade drove the new mini, to say he look weird behind the wheel was an understatement. He was so big making the car look even smaller than it was.
“I really must thank Gavin for getting you this car.” I say to Ade as he tried to get comfortable in the driver’s seat.
