Evangeline Point Of View*
"Have we known each other before?"
I gulped because of what he said, and my nervous feeling suddenly came up with an idea.
"Maybe we met in your dream. Ayeeee! It's just a joke, we haven't met before, and it's my first time here in Britain, so don't assume that we have already met each other."
I smiled at him and looked at David.
"David, where's your guest room? I'm about to rest."
"Oh, I see. Follow me."
I was about to leave when Matias grabbed my hand to stop me.
"You go first. Miss Lia and I have something to talk about."
I was stunned because of what he said, and I signaled to David not to leave me, but that very David left me to his boss, who was cold as a Snowman.
I sighed, looked at him, and smiled. Please don't be dazzled by his beautiful face, Eve. Have mercy on yourself if you don't want to end up hurting yourself.
"What do you need, Mr. Wright?"
I looked into his eyes, and even though I was taken aback by his gaze on me, I still looked at him.
Shit! His eyes are so beautiful! But one of the things I heard is that this one man right in front of me is a tyrant. I will do everything so he can trust me fully.
"Mr. Wright, I couldn't look into your eyes now. I'll fall more in love with you if you do that."
I said, and I was now blushing. Eh, it's because what I stated is true!
"Oh, really?"
"Yes."
"Follow me."
He walked first, and I raised an eyebrow. Where will he take me? I walked and followed him. Where are we going?
We stopped at a beautiful door, and when he opened it, I saw the beautiful living room unfolding in front of me.
He walked, and I followed him to the sofa in his living room, and it was just the two of us. My god, he might r**e me now.
He sat down, and he signaled me to sit on another sofa, and a maid came in with tea and biscuits. I thought he would stay here in the room, but he didn't, and he left.
Until We are the only two left here in the living room again.
Matias looked at me coldly as if he were reading my behavior or something, but I just looked into his eyes because no matter what I said, I missed this man.
"David told me earlier that you heard the faint sound of a bomb. Tell me, how did you do that? Are you an ordinary woman, or are you with that Morocco?"
Suddenly I felt something strange, and I saw that it was from him. He saw that he spread his aura as an Alpha. And that means it threatens me.
'Tell me the truth, are you my enemy or what? That's what he thought in my mind while looking into my eyes.
My eyes narrowed and I didn't hold him back and I didn't affect his by his aura.
"You are really strange. It looks like you're not affected by my aura"
"I'm not really an enemy. Why should I be afraid if I'm not really one of them?"
He thought and nodded. He stood up suddenly.
"Yes, you're right. If it's true that you're not an enemy, what makes me wonder is why you're immune to my aura."
He was now in front of me, and his face was so close to mine that my eyes widened, and I leaned on the sofa while still staring into his eyes.
I bit my lip. How can I escape from this place? Waaaa, I don't know how to escape.
"If you don't trust me... I hope you just leave me there, your Grace."
"I will not leave you there. I feel that I can still use you in my mission now."
My eyes widened because of what he said.
"I'm not a thing."
I dodged and now I'm standing by his side.
"It's better to just leave here. What am I in this place for? I'm just a tourist. I'm not a tool that can be used when needed and thrown away when it's no longer useful."
I was annoyed because I was used. Why was I carried away by the gust of my emotions?!
He looked at me emotionlessly and was about to walk away, but I stepped back once.
"Do whatever you want. You can freely go outside—"
I didn't finish him because I started crying. I saw the Butler and an assistant there, and they looked at me in confusion, and I left there.
Good thing I still remembered where we came out. I was stunned to see the heavy rain outside the mansion.
When did it rain? It didn't rain earlier, huh? It's Just so weird?
"Miss Lia?"
I looked at David, and he was surprised when he saw that I cried.
"What happened?"
"N-Nothing."
I rushed away while it was still raining heavily.
"Miss Lia!"
I didn't listen to David's call and just kept running until I got out of the gate.
"Damn it, the rain knows my emotions better than a person who's breathing."
I had run a long way, and there was really no shelter on the side, so I sat on the side of the road while the rain was still heavy.
I held my heart.
"I thought it was a long time ago. Why do I still feel the pain in my heart? I forgot about you, didn't I? Why did you come back and make me cry again?"
I'm still crying until I feel sleepy because I feel tired from the whole day I spent today and I still saw that man.
"Matias, don't show yourself in front of me, please."
I closed my eyes while it was still raining. I wanted to take a nap for a while until I fell asleep.
Matias Point Of View*
"That woman really has something."
I drank wine while sitting in my chair, looking out of the balcony. It is raining heavily, and there is also strong lightning.
"I think David had already escorted that girl to her house today."
Suddenly someone knocked on the door.
"Come in."
"Your Grace."
I frowned. Because he's still here, does that mean that girl hasn't left the mansion yet? I'm right, that girl has a different impact on me.
"What happened to the woman? Is she still here at the mansion?"
"She left and she ran in the middle of the rain."
I frowned because my Mansion was far away from where the cars were taking her, and I could see that the lightning was also strong there.
"You left her in the middle of the road while it was raining heavily?"
"Yes, Your Grace."
I held my head.
"Get the car! Find her!"
"Yes, Your Grace."
