Asralyn and I mostly hung out in Tiselle’s room the rest of the evening. Syrana, Dominique and Jareth popped in here and there, but everybody else kept their distance and gave us our space.
Eventually, Asralyn couldn’t hang any longer. Needing to get some sleep, she left and went to her own room to join her husband for the night.
Right after she left, Syrana stepped in to check Tiselle’s vitals once more. While she did that, I went to Dominique’s bedroom and tucked him in for the night. Since I hadn’t spent very much time with him the past two days, I didn’t hurry out, choosing instead to stay and read him a bedtime story.

That’s the story he chose, and I could see why. We quite literally had a sleeping beauty just across the hall from us.
