I was so sick of sitting in the hotel room. So I changed into one of my dresses.
Since I still had the bulky cast on, I chose the strapless black dress with sequins. It was a bit shorter than I typically wore, but I didn’t care.
I was just going to the hotel bar. What’s the worst that could happen?
When I arrived, I was happy to see the same bartender behind the counter. This time, he flashed me a smile and greeted, “Hello again, gorgeous. What will you be having today?”
I returned the smile and answered, “Let’s start with two shots of whatever you gave me the other night.”
