“Leave us!” Dasha almost jumped when Desmond shouted as he entered the mansion. His voice echoed in the corners of the vast house. Dasha could see that his aura was even murderous; his eyes were burning with fury. She wondered why her husband was acting like this, and it seemed his rage was directed to her. Doona and the rest of the household staff all stared at him for a beat or two before they all scurried away like scared rabbits, leaving her and her husband alone. None dared to question him at the moment. “Desmond?” she queried with confusion dabbed on her face. He pulled her by the hand, almost roughly, leading her to the second floor. It was when she noticed there was an envelope he held in his other hand. “Why are you acting like this? What’s wrong with you?” she asked, wonde
