“Are you sure we’re in the right place?” Ryder asked as we stood in the middle of nowhere.
I looked at Pyro who was also looking around. His eyes are narrowed and his jaw clenched while his eyes roamed around the place like there’s something wrong.
Well, there is something wrong. If this is the place, he’s got to be mistaken. Or maybe we got lost along the way.
“Are you sure?” Darneil asked Pyro. “There’s nothing to see here. It is as if no one has been here in ages.”
We’re in the middle of the forest. A seemingly dead spot surrounded by tall trees. There’s no sign of any life in here. Just those insects perhaps.
“I am sure that it is here,” Pyro said in a serious tone. And for some reason, I believe him. I just don’t know if it was okay to do so. But I know his abilities.
