"Mom, oh mother." Jade cried out and she rushed to myself being careful not to hurt me.
I tried to talk, but the words were stuck in my throat and I couldn't seem to get them out. I was truly glad and relieved to see my children.
Since I couldn't get any words out, I tried to raise one hand and wave to them, so that they would know that I acknowledged their presence.
"You shouldn't exert yourself, mom." Jay chided and I couldn't help but smile.
There he goes, looking out for everyone. I wondered who was looking out for him though because in his eyes I saw great pain and sadness and I was sure that it wasn't only because I was hospitalized that he was that way.
Something or someone else was hurting my boy.
"My children." I finally found my voice and a tear mistakenly slippe
